A huge thank you to our community volunteers for continuing to come and deliver cooking lessons for all children in school.
This week year 3 and 4 have made leek and ham crumble bake. The smells wafting around school are simply mouthwatering! In order to safeguard some vulnerable families, we share extensive photos and videos with parents internally, using 'Class Dojo'. This is a secure platform to share our news.
Some secure photos and videos will also be posted externally using twitter. Find us at: https://twitter.com/warkprimary Thank you for taking the time to check here As part of our art curriculum, we take one picture and plan a whole weeks curriculum around it. This Spring term it was, "Everything Smells Different When It Rains" by an Ukrainian artist named, Olha Darchuk. It is a beautiful and vibrant piece of art work which the children adored. Each class used it as their inspiration for their cross-curricular lessons; art, science, English and more! At the end of the week, each child created a display, showcasing all the fabulous work they produced. Please press play on our virtual art gallery tour below: World Book Day was a little different this year. As many of our children were home learning, we decided to send in some pictures of us reading in funny places. Even some of the teachers took part! The children invited parents to a dance show to show them the dances they have been learning from around the world.
