A group of Church Evangalists came to visit u on the 7th September. They took a whole school RE session and talked about collective worship with lots of singing and dancing.

Harvest
Our Harvest Festival took place in St Michael’s Church on Friday 5th October. It was lovely to see so many family and friends in Church and the many gifts of fruit and vegetables made a fantastic display.

Remembrance Service
The School Remembrance Service was held at the village War Memorial on Friday 9th November. In a poignant outside service, the children remembered those who had given their lives for our freedom. Many parents and villagers joined us at the War Memorial.

A packed hall enjoyed two performances on Thursday 20th December. With mulled wine and mince pies to follow.

The term ended with a carol service in St Michael’s Church on Friday 21st December. The Church was packed with parents and friends.

Messy Church Friday 25th January
Keystage one - The Godly play presentation of the Mustard seed.
The children the created birds representing themselves I the Kingdom of God and planted mustard seeds to see the grow.
Keystage 2 - The Godly presentaion of the parable sower.
The Children then created their own planted field with the stony grond, good soil and weeds and planted seed to see which would grown best.

On Friday 29th March we held a lovely service in school with poems and hymns in celebration of our mothers. The children presented their mum's with bunches of daffodils.

Both keystages covered the story which had been told in Open The Book, Jesus and the special friends. I will make you fishers of men. We watched a cartoon representation of the story, made fish to hang in church and a handprint piece of art for school. We enjoyed singing the song "Our God is a great big God".
