Every parent automatically becomes a member of the Friends of Wark Primary School when their child enters school.
There is an Annual General Meeting early in the Autumn term to which all parents are invited and a committee is elected at this meeting.
The Friends of Wark Primary School organises a variety of social, educational and fund-raising events throughout the year.
Meetings take place once a term, and alternate between 2pm at school and evenings at 7.30pm in one of the local pubs to share ideas, plan future events, have a natter and of course, a drink or two.
Once again this year we would like to promote two REALLY EASY ways we can raise money for the school, Easyfundraising.org and the 100 club. Details can be obtained from school.
A member of staff also attends the meetings and we always welcome input from teachers,teaching assistants and admin staff.
