Meet the Governors
Welcome to Wark C of E Primary School Governors webpage. Ever since the school was founded in 1684 there has been a dedicated board of governors whose purpose is to support the teaching staff and ensure that the children who attend the school not only enjoy the experience of learning but also want to go on to learn more.
Governors are given individual roles and responsibilities and also work on selected committees to help with the immediate and long term running of the school. The full Governing body meets at least twice a term to discuss any issues and plan for the future.
The current list of Governors is given below. If you are interested in joining the board of Governors or have a question relating to the governance of the school, please feel free to contact the Head Teacher or Chairman of Governors. If you would like to contact any of the Governors', their contact details are available in school.
